A Unique Approach...
To: Calmly and Confidently
Welcome Guests with Good Manners
For: Ginny
Quoted Improvements within Several Days:
I'm seeing signs of change in Ginny. The first
couple of days after she started the blend, I didn't expect to notice anything-but I did.
Every time I sat down, I realized she wasn't jumping
on my lap for attention. I've left the house
about four times; when I return, she doesn't jump on me
until I've put all my stuff down and start petting the
dogs. At that point, she's jumping to be the
first one petted (somewhat like a kid yelling "dibs"
for the front seat).
I've been taking her drops
too, and it is helping me remember to be
mindful of training her. When she jumps on my
lap for attention while I'm sitting down or as a
greeting, I'm doing the right "not allowed" training
things.
Quoted Improvements at 1 Week:
Last night I got home unusually late; as I was putting the key in the
door, I got concerned. I didn't hear any dog
noises from the other side of the door--no sounds of
three dogs pushing each other around, no sounds of
dogs leaping on the door and scratching it with their
claws. I opened the door to find three dogs,
each with all four paws on the floor, wagging their
tails. They were excited to see me, but allowed
me to enter the house--nobody was jumping on me or
winding around my feet, tripping me.
My dogs are really sweet girls who were already well
behaved, except for Ginny's jumping behavior.
Although I got the blend specifically for Ginny, I see
subtle improvements in Happy and Star too. I've
been putting the essences in the common water bowl,
and each dog has responded to the "Good
Manners" aspect of the goal in her own way.
Thank you Cathy. You've helped my happy
relationship with my dogs be even better.
